To welcome winter in a different way, the Longines 25th Hour Night-time Competition invites all photographers, amateurs and professionals alike, to take advantage of the extra hour gained by the switch to winter time to capture the moment and unleash their creativity.
Open to all, the Longines 25th Hour photo competition brings together photography enthusiasts, whether individuals, groups or families. Urban scenes, portraits, landscapes or tributes to famous beaches: all perspectives are welcome to capture Deauville by night with sensitivity and freedom.
On Saturday, 25 October, starting at 10:30 p.m., participants will be welcomed at Les Franciscaines with refreshments to warm up before setting off to explore the city in search of the winning photo.
At midnight, the signal is given from the Franciscaines forecourt.
Participants then have one hour to create their photo and submit their digital file to the teams.
The images, taken during the night by Agence Graphique by Copifac, will be exhibited the following morning in Le Cloître and presented to the jury of the Planches Contact Festival, chaired this year by Rima Abdul Malak.
On Sunday, 26 October at 12 noon, all participants are invited to gather to discover the results and attend the announcement of the winners.
