In 2026, Planches Contact Festival will host the Swiss Life Prize for the 17th edition of the Festival, with presentations of the residency works in the Chapelle des Franciscaines.
"Thanks to the patronage of the Swiss Life Foundation, we wish to support cultural institutions that may suffer from cuts in certain public subsidies. We are thus reaffirming our commitment to showcasing original works of high quality in France. We will visit five exceptional venues where we have never exhibited before: the Manuel Rivera-Ortiz Foundation in Arles, Les Franciscaines – Planches Contact Festival in Deauville, La Chambre in Strasbourg, Le Lavoir Numérique in Gentilly, and the Espace de l'Art Concret in Mouans Sartoux. Concerts may be held in certain configurations. Between July 2026 and October 2027, there will be more than 14 months of musical exhibitions in five different venues in France.
