At midnight on Saturday 25 October, 226 participants – a figure never before reached – gathered on the forecourt of the Franciscan convent to kick off the competition.
Aged between 6 and 77, whether with family, friends or on their own, photographers roamed the streets of Deauville in search of the perfect shot to capture this ‘25th hour’.
This enthusiasm is a testament to the event’s growing success; over the years, it has become a highlight of cultural life in Deauville.
After the digital files were delivered during the night, all the photographs were printed by Initial Labo and put on display on Sunday morning in the Franciscan Cloister.
Each participant was able to see their artwork displayed alongside those of the other entrants – a wonderful celebration of collective creativity and shared imagination.
The photographs were then carefully examined by a jury of experts, chaired by Rima Abdul-Malak, former Minister of Culture.
See you on Saturday 24 October 2026!
We would like to thank the loyal partners of the Longines 25th Hour competition.
