Self-taught and now a major figure in contemporary Chinese photography, 223 explores intimate freedom, sexuality and creative energy through analogue colour photography, capturing the essence of his life, his friends and shared moments. His images, somewhere between desire and chaos, celebrate a youth that defies social expectations. Represented by several galleries in Europe and Asia, such as in)(between gallery in Paris, he has exhibited at the MEP (Paris), among other
