A decentralised department of the Ministry of Culture and Communication under the authority of the prefect, the Regional Directorate for Cultural Affairs implements the government's cultural policy at regional level. Drawing on the expertise of its various departments, it supports artistic creation and its dissemination to all audiences.<\/p>

It also oversees the cultural dimension of regional planning and the preservation of movable, immovable and archaeological heritage. Making culture accessible to as many people as possible is one of Fnac's long-standing missions. PHOTO4FOOD<\/em>, ART IN THE SERVICE OF OTHERS\u00a0<\/h3>

The mission of the photo4food<\/em> foundation is to fund meals for the most disadvantaged through the sale of art photographs donated by generous artists. To thank and encourage them, the foundation also promotes their work to a large community of enthusiasts and buyers. photo4food organises exhibitions of the main works and charity dinners.<\/p>

Created by Olivier and Virginie Goy and hosted by the Institut de France, the photo4food <\/i>foundation's mission is to fund meals for the most disadvantaged through the sale of photographs donated by artists and donations from the public. To thank and encourage the artists involved, the foundation promotes their work to a large community of enthusiasts and buyers by organising exhibitions.<\/p>

For the past five years, the partnership between the festival and the foundation has made it possible to invite photographers in residence each year and to raise funds through the sale of photographs for the benefit of the local Red Cross.<\/p>

This year, four photographers from the foundation travelled across Normandy, listening to the landscape and redrawing it in the style of a diary, painting and visual art.\u00a0<\/p>

LA SAIF<\/h3>

SAIF \u2013 Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 des Auteurs des arts visuels et de l\u2019Image Fixe (Society of Visual Artists and Still Image Creators) \u2013 is a civil society organisation whose mission is to defend, collect and distribute royalties for visual artists. Created in 1999 by authors wishing to collectively defend their rights, SAIF now represents more than 8,500 authors from all visual arts fields: architects, designers, draughtsmen, graphic designers, illustrators, painters, visual artists, sculptors, photographers, etc.<\/p>

The prevailing principles are equality, solidarity and fairness among member authors. Since its creation, SAIF has worked to protect and defend copyright and maintains an ongoing dialogue with broadcasters and national and international institutions to make the voices of authors heard. It collects collective rights on behalf of its authors (private copying, reprography rights, library lending rights and cable television rights) and also manages other copyrights (audiovisual rights, Internet rights, resale rights, reproduction rights and public performance rights).<\/p>

Through its cultural activities, SAIF also plays an important role in France's artistic and cultural vitality. It supports initiatives to assist in the creation and dissemination of works, training for artists, and the development of artistic and cultural education.<\/p>

Since 2015, it has provided its members with SAIF images, an online image bank enabling them to promote their works and distribute them in compliance with copyright laws.<\/p>

Villa p\u00e9rochon<\/h3>

A new partner of the festival, Villa P\u00e9rochon, Niort's contemporary photography centre, will host the winner of the Young Photographic Creation Award, announced during the festival's opening weekend, for a residency in 2026.<\/span><\/p>

The purpose of Villa P\u00e9rochon is to promote and disseminate contemporary photography through the organisation of individual and\/or group exhibitions, a festival (Les Rencontres de la Jeune Photographie Internationale), hosting photographers in residence, and setting up mediation and image education programmes for all audiences.<\/p>

The Rencontres de la Jeune Photographie Internationale residency takes place in Niort. Every year for a fortnight, the creative residency welcomes six emerging international photographers with a wide variety of artistic approaches, selected through an international call for applications. It offers them complete freedom, stimulated by encounters, exchanges and the sharing of experiences through the very different backgrounds of each participant.<\/p>

The InCadaques festival supports the Young Photographic Creation Award by inviting one of the four winning photographers to come and work in residence in Spain, with the resulting work to be exhibited at the festival in 2026.<\/span><\/p>

InCadaqu\u00e9s: A photography festival in the heart of the village of Cadaqu\u00e9s<\/strong>
Every year for ten days, Cadaqu\u00e9s becomes a space for photographers from around the world to express themselves: 25 exhibitions spread throughout the village, workshops, masterclasses and outdoor events. All of the town's iconic locations provide a natural backdrop for an in situ scenography. Art galleries and cultural centres, temporary and historic spaces all come together to host the event. Both educational and artistic, InCadaqu\u00e9s invites visitors to enjoy a unique photographic experience. A festive gathering, where proximity to the guest artists is central to the concept.
The InCadaqu\u00e9s Festival supports local and international photographic creation, as well as the dissemination of culture and artistic education. The event also perpetuates the spirit of the town of Cadaqu\u00e9s, which has always been a source of inspiration for great artists such as Man Ray, Marcel Duchamp, Richard Hamilton, Pablo Picasso, Mir\u00f3 and Salvador Dal\u00ed.

THE MANORS OF TOURG\u00c9VILLE<\/h3>
