Curator and author, Laura Serani directed from 1985 to 2006 the Fnac Photographic Collection and its network of photographic galleries in France and abroad.
Artistic delegate of the Month of Photography (2014 and 2008), Laura Serani was artistic director of the Rencontres de Bamako, African Biennial of Photography in Mali from 2009 to 2014. She is the artistic director of Planches Contact since January 2019.
