Marin Karmitz

Director, producer, distributor and exhibitor, great defender of independent cinema, Marin Karmitz is also an art collector. He is presenting his collection of photographs for the first time at the Rencontres d'Arles 2010. In October 2018, La Maison Rouge Fondation Antoine de Galbert will host the exhibition Étranger Résident, based on his collection and presenting nearly four hundred works.

In line with his passion for photography, he is currently president of the Association de Préfiguration de l'Institut pour la Photographie des Hauts de France. He joined the Planches Contact jury in 2015.
