After a successful 15ᵉ edition, the Planches Contact festival embarks on a new story
In 2024, the Planches Contact festival made its mark with a rich program and installations that were both monumental and immersive, confirming the event's importance in the French photographic landscape. This 15ᵉedition also marks the end of an artistic cycle.
Since 2019, under the artistic direction of Laura Serani, with photographer Sarah Moon as jury president, the festival has undergone remarkable development, in terms of programming and outreach. The Ville de Deauville and Les Franciscaines warmly thank Laura Serani and Sarah Moon for their commitment and exceptional contributions to the history of Planches Contact.
A new artistic direction will be unveiled shortly. In the meantime, the festival team remains fully mobilized for the 2025 edition. Supported by Les Franciscaines, Planches Contact is entering a new phase in its development, combining artistic ambition, innovation and a stronger international presence.
