The photo4food foundation
For this part of the Festival, the result of a new partnership, four artists from the photo4food foundation Charlotte Bovy, Thomas Dhellemmes, Letizia Le Fur, Anaïs Tondeur will exhibit on the beach ofauvillaise a new photographic work, produced in residence for the festival and selected by Laura Serani, its artistic director and the steering committee of the Arnaud Adida foundation, Akrame Benallal, Simon Brodbeck, Lucie de Barbuat, Emmanuelle de l'Ecotais, Isabelle Juy. The proceeds from the sale of these photographs will go to the Red Cross, selected by the foundation, in conjunction with the City of Deauville.
"The aim of the foundation is to put art at the service of others. This initiative is the very essence of our raison d'être: to fight poverty through the sale of photographs and to give back the generosity of our photographers by giving them a unique exhibition," say Virginie and Olivier Goy, founders of photo4food.
"Being Norman by adoption, we are particularly proud to realize this exhibition on the beach of Deauville, a new and incredible place to admire the work of our artists. " photo4food's mission is to finance meals for the underprivileged through the sale of art photos by young artists and the receipt of donations from the public. These artists have donated some of their work to the foundation. To thank and encourage them, the foundation also promotes their work to a large community of enthusiasts and buyers, notably by organizing exhibitions of their main works. photo4food is a foundation hosted by the Institut de France (Académie française, Académie des Beaux-Arts ...) and created by Virginie and Olivier Goy.
