DN MADe students in Caen celebrate 15 years of Planches Contact with an exhibition project

To mark the 15th anniversary of the Planches Contact festival, students from Caen in the DN MADe (Diplôme National des Métiers d'Art et de Design) Heritage and Scenography program will be proposing a fictitious curatorial and scenographic project for the Point de Vue space.
After an initial meeting in October at Caen's Lycée Dumont d'Urville with Camille Binelli, head of the Pôle Photographique, the DN MADe students will be welcomed at Les Franciscaines on December 13.
They will have the opportunity to visit the Planches Contact exhibition in the company of Flavio Bonuccelli, the set designer for the 15ᵉ edition, who will talk to them about the process surrounding the exhibition of a photographic work. The day will also be an opportunity for students, accompanied by mediators, to take part in two workshops: one on the analysis and reading of photography, the second on the relationship between exhibition scenography and users.
Over the course of 2025, the students will then work on their project based on a selection ofworksfrom the festival, before presenting it at the Lycée Dumont d'Urville - Laplace, in April.
